Serafina Klimas

Serafina Klimas, age 83 of Warren, died on Saturday, April 18, 2009. She was born June 3, 1925 in Export, Pennsylvania to parents, Frank & Piacentina Clemente. Whether it was her enjoyment & involvement in the sport of bowling, or her membership & association with the "Christian Mother's" group at St. Sylvester's, Serafina was an active lady who enjoyed sharing the blessings of fun, ministry and touching hearts with all those who were a part of her life. And she especially cherished those treasured moments spent with family & friends. Her presence will truly be missed by those whose lives she touched along the way. Beloved wife of Henry "Chet." Dear mother of Katherine (Bill) Cusenza, John Klimas, and Marijo (John) Boufford. Sister of Frank Clemente, Marge Blashfield, Minnie Palmieri, Eleanora Carfang, and Louis Sleeth. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation for Serafina will be from 3-9pm on Tuesday, April 21 at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile) in Warren. She will lie in state on Wednesday, April 22 from 10:00am until time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30am at St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Warren. Please share memories of Serafina at her guest book.
