A longtime member of Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Birmingham, Sharon’s spirit and compassion will be remembered by all who knew her. Sharon had a lifelong passion for crocheting, creating beautiful baby blankets that became treasured gifts to friends and family welcoming little ones. Her love for crafting was only matched by the love she poured into her family. She shared a special bond with her parents and grandparents, especially her mother, and continued that tradition of closeness with her own family.
She found great joy in the simple things, especially summer vacations with her daughter Abbey, where just being together was enough. Holidays were always a cherished time, spent laughing, decorating cookies, and making joyful memories (and occasional messes) in the kitchen. Sharon looked forward to trips with her grandkids to the pool and roller rink, and afternoons making melty bead crafts- the kind of moments that become precious memories.
Sharon will be remembered dearly for her kind heart. Her warmth lives on in the lives she touched and the family she leaves behind.
