

Sharon Lynn Olejniczak age 51 died suddenly Sunday December 22, 2013 at her home in Warren. Sharon was born October 17, 1962 in Warren Michigan, the daughter of Arthur Powers, and the late Dolores (nee: Basta) Powers.Sharon was raised in Warren and graduated from Warren Woods High School the class of 1980. She would continue her education at Macomb College for two more years before entering the workforce. Sharon began her employment with General Polymers as a customer service agent. Sharon was definitely a people person and continued working as the customer service manager at Ashland Chemical. Sharon took time off and started her family as a devoted mother, eventually returning to the workforce to work again with people. Sharon worked for Power Staffing Source and Sentech Services as a recruiting manager. Over the years through her dedication and people skills, Sharon provided employment opportunities to thousands of individuals.When Sharon was not working her children and family came first. Beyond her family was her extended family and friends. Her devotion to her family and faith was evident through her volunteering as a Boy Scout Leader and a Brownie Mother. Sharon also taught Catechism at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Additionally she cherished her time at the family cottage and boating. Sharon really was a kid at heart through her joking or her love of dancing to her 80's and 90's music. One of Sharon's fond memories was her travel abroad to live for a month with a sponsor family in France. While in France Sharon traveled and lived the adventurous life of a young woman... even dating a long haired rock star.Sharon was the loving wife of Keith and dearest mother of David, and Nicole Olejniczak. She is the beloved daughter of Arthur and the late Dolores Powers. She is the cherished sister of Michelle (Karl) Schneider, David (Karen) Powers, and dear aunt of Laura, Lisa, Brandon, Kaitlyn, and Justin. Sharon was the special cousin of Michael (Theresa) Logie, and Mark (Melissa) Logie. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends. Visitation for Sharon will be Thursday December 26th from 3-9pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Road). Sharon will lie in state Friday 11:30am at St. Martin dePorres Catholic Church until the time of the Funeral Liturgy at 12 Noon.
