Stanley was a proud veteran of the United States Army National Guard and flew the American Flag with pride. He retired from Chrysler where he worked as a toolmaker. His family meant the world to him, and Stanley treasured the time he spent with them. He loved taking his family camping and going on road trips and cruises with his wife. Stanley and his loving wife Dolores spent a lot of time in Myrtle Beach, his favorite vacation place, as well as Devils Lake Campground where he made many longtime friends. Stanley was a talented woodworker and made oak pendulum clocks, personalizing them for all his children. He was a do-it-yourself handyman and could build or repair anything including remodeling the kitchen, basement, and attic. He had many hobbies and interests that included collecting diecast model airplanes and taking movies and pictures at family gatherings. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and mushroom picking. Stanley was very proud of his Polish heritage and showed this by making face masks that displayed the Polish Eagle. He encouraged others to wear the masks as well. His faith was strong, and he carried a small crucifix wherever he went. Stanley was very stubborn and set in his ways but was also very generous and loved to give and make people happy. He enjoyed sitting outside in his driveway and talking to his neighbors. Stanley had many close friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Working with his hands, and with his wife by his side, he made homemade gifts for people, including candles, and he gave away fish and kielbasa that he smoked in his homemade smokehouse. He was known as the $2 man and loved giving his grandchildren $2 bills.
