Stella H. Tent

Stella Helen Tent, age 90 a resident of Warren for over 40 years, died Wednesday, November 04, 2009 at Lakepointe Villa Care facility. Stella was born May 20, 1919 in Wilmington, Delaware the daughter of the late Anthony Kluczewski and the late Marie (nee: Lukasiewicz) Kluczewski. As a young woman Mrs. Tent moved with her family to Detroit and during World War II worked in the factory as a Rosie the Riveter. After Stella married she became a stay at home Mom caring for her family and household. Her daughters remember their mother as the classic 1950s homemaker. She was a wonderful cook, and excellent homemaker. Mrs. Tent enjoyed being involved and volunteering with many civic activities. She was active in her church, and also enjoyed taking many pictures, crocheting, and sewing. Mrs. Tent was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Tent. She is the dear mother of Patricia Herbst, Tina (Arthur) Fisette, Diane (Rick) Traub, and the late Brian, and Allen Tent. Also she is the loving grandmother of Tammy, Shawn, Nicole, Melissa, Justin, Brett, and great-grandmother of Billy, Calvin, and Abigail. Visitation for Mrs. Tent will be Friday from 3-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 mile). Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday 11:00 am, officiated by Rev. Fr. Roman Pasieczny. Memorial donations appreciated to Hospice of Michigan, 400 Mack Ave. Detroit, MI 48201.
