Susan Ann Allison

Susan Ann Allison, age 75, died Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Ascension St. John Hospital in Warren, Michigan.  Susan was born March 29, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Ernest Dominick and the late Sylvia (nee: Columbo) Dominick.

Susan was raised in Harper Woods, Michigan and graduated from Harper Woods High School.  Following her schooling she began work at Blue Cross and Blue Shield Insurance Company and later moved on to Chrysler Motors working as a secretary.  It was while working at Chrysler Motors that Susan met her husband, Charles.

Susan and Charles married and moved to the burgeoning community of Warren in 1966.  She became the consummate “stay at home Mom" maintaining the most well kept and pristine home in the neighborhood.  Susan delighted in her home, flowers, and landscaping,...however, her greatest pride and accomplishment was her family.

In addition to being a wonderful homemaker, Susan was devout in her Catholic faith and was an active member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, serving also as an Eucharistic Minister.  She loved God, her family, and especially her late Shitzu dog, PJ.  Mrs. Allison will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Mrs. Allison was the beloved wife of Charles D. Allison, and loving mother of Mark (Kali) Allison, and Kimberly (James) Trovato. Cherished grandmother of Drew, Zachary, Christian, Alyssa, and sister of Judy Vihtelic, and the late Mary Donahue. 

Memorial donations are appreciated for Masses to be held at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Mrs. Allison’s name.  

Arrangements have been entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road in Warren, MI.
