Sylvia Lavin, age 88 of Warren, died on October 9, 2012 at Windemere Park Assisted Living. Sylvia was born December 31, 1923, in Manchester, England the daughter of the late Peter and the late Ester (nee: Callon) Dunkerley. Sylvia was the beloved wife of the late Patrick. She was a loving mother of Patricia Combs, Stella (Roger) Isaacson, and David (Laurie). Devoted grandmother of Jennifer, Michelle, Jeremy, Lee, Grant, and Sarah. Cherished great-grandmother of Hannah, Christopher, and Jason. Loving aunt of David (Linda) Dunkerley. Visitation for Sylvia will be Thursday from 5-9pm with a 7pm Scripture Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ' Mile Road). She will lie in state Friday 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Sylvester Catholic Church.
