Tony Fong

Tony is survived by his dear brothers, Vince and Jim Fong and sister, Jean (Paul) Mauk. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hip Mine Fong and Nga May Fong and brother, Larry Fong. He is also survived by numerous other family members who cared for him dearly.

Tony and his family were the proud owners of China Moon and Peking Villa restaurants for many years. Many have known Tony from his work as cashier, answering the carry out phones and sitting customers to their tables.

Tony studied at Michigan State University and Wayne State University.

Tony’s favorite hobbies included reading science fiction and fantasy novels, computer gaming, music, writing short stories, watching anime movies and Dungeon & Dragon role playing games. His favorite foods was making BBQ Ribs for everyone.

A visitation to remember Tony will be held at the Warren location of A.H. Peters Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 10th, 5-9pm.

Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Detroit, on Wednesday, November 11th, at 11am.
