Loving daughter of the late Joseph and Bernice Winckowski. Beloved mom of Jamie. Dear sister of the late Joseph Winckowski. Also survived by cousins and many friends.
Val was a Licensed Funeral Director in the State of Michigan and member of Michigan Funeral Directors Association for over 50 years.
Valerie remained close with her son Jamie her entire life. They enjoyed the simple times together at home. She was always there for him when needed and told him how proud she was of him at every opportunity. Valerie will be remembered for being strong-willed, independent and her heart for helping others. She will be deeply missed by all who survive her.
A visitation will be held at the Warren location of A.H. Peters Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Faustina Catholic Church with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. All services are tentative and will be announced soon.
