6/27/2024:  I was at a restaurant the other day and saw a woman who looked just like Aunt Virgie!  And here it is:  the time of her remembrance.  Love, Mary Spanos

I am so (humbly) proud to say that it was my mom (your Aunt Sophie) who introduced Uncle Ed and Aunt Virgie.  Such a simple gesture on mom's part, led to a most beautiful and fruitful "rest of the story."   Aunt Virgie's twinkling eyes, ready smile, and cheerfulness all came together in the Holy Spirit's gift of hospitality.  Her's was a life well-lived that reached into so many other lives.  I loved Aunt Virgie and knew that I was loved by her.   After our mom passed, she frequently reached out to my brother because "you have Nic and Angeline has Frank."  Just a great (!) lady whose first breath on earth has now been joined to her first breath in God's Kingdom.   God bless you abundantly in Eternity, Aunt Virgie, with His choicest blessings! Virginia is the friendliest person we have ever met. Our memory of her is a smiling face, twinkling blue eyes and the gift of drawing you into a conversation. 
She was so accepting of everyone and had a way of making people feel happy and special when around her..

When Lyndsey and I taught grandma how to do the “naynay” dance 

Grandma was such a joy to be around. From dancing, to building puzzles, playing card games, it was never a dull moment. She made her home warm and loving to all. Avery loved her time with her GG. :)

Mrs. Kudzia (mom) was like a second mother to me for 30 years (5 years when I dated her youngest son, Ron, and 25 years when I was married to Ron). We shared so many great memories that it would take a book to write them all down. I will cherish the memories forever. I will remember Mrs. Kudzia (mom) like this: She loved bowling and bowled on her women’s league for many years. She loved playing Bingo and played Bingo for many years. I remember Ron and I always having to pick her up from Bingo because Mr. Kudzia (dad) worked afternoons and had the only car. She would instruct us on occasion not to tell dad she went to Bingo (lol). She loved camping and going up north with her Husband, Ed (dad). They would go camping for weeks at a time during the summer months with their cherished pop-up camper. Ron, Steve, and I always had a great time when they were camping (lol). She loved traveling with her lady friends and loved the casino. She loved playing cards, especially crazy 8’s and board games. There were so many things that Mrs. Kudzia (mom) loved to do. But the most important thing to remember is - She loved her family more than any mother on earth could. Her family was everything to her and it showed in all the sacrifices that she made for her family. In all the years that I knew her, she was always there for everyone, she never missed a birthday, or important event in each and everyone’s life (Amazing). Virginia-Mom-Gramma-Geenya-Geenga was truly a wonderful lady!! I look forward to the day when I will see her again in paradise!

Mrs. Kudzia was my neighbor growing up in Roseville.  She was good friends with my mother and did many things to help my mother.  After my mother passed we shared some special times going to tea .  

My memory of Virginia every time I spent with her was she always had a beautiful smile.  She was always a pleasure to be around.
My brother was very blessed to have a such a wonderful mother in law, Lynsey  and Alex had such a loving Grandmother.  She loved her baseball.  Now she can be at peace.  She will truly be missed everyone  loved her so.
