Pereira Belmira ‘Bella’ (Quiterio)

82 formerly of 20 Libby Lane died Sunday February 20, 2011 at Crestwood Nursing Home. She was the wife of Manuel Pereira. Born in Terceira, Acores, Portugal she was a daughter of the late Jose Coelho and Maria da Gloria (Fagundes) Quiterio.

Before retiring she worked at American Tourister and R & J mfg.

She has been a resident of Warren for 31 years. She loved baking bread and cooking for her family.

She is survived by four sons Fernando Pereira of Warren, Eugene Pereira of East Providence, Helio Pereira of Pawtucket and Francesco Pereira of Warren. One brother Jose Coelho Quiterio of New Bedford and five sisters Maria Natal Fagundes and Felisbela Quiterio of the Acores. Maria de Fatima Quiterio of Fall River, Denia Ferreira of Bristol and Filomena Maria Lee.

She had five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Durvalina Quiterio

Her Funeral will be on Thursday February 24, 2011 at 9 am from the WILBUR-ROMANO Funeral Home 615 Main Street, Warren with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Elizabeth’s Church 577 Wood Street Bristol. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
