99 of Prospect Street died Wednesday March 16, 2011 at RI Hospital. She was the wife of the late David L. Miller. Born in Taunton MA. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Georgianna (Paquet) Poirier.
She was employed in the office of Glenwood Range Co. in Taunton for many years. She loved books and worked at both the Barrington Public Library for 15 years and the Taunton Library for one year.
Gertrude was a devoted housewife and mother. She was a Barrington resident for 62 years and a devout member of St. Luke’s Church.
She is survived by a loving son David L. Miller of Malden MA. And many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Theresa Gaffney, Rene Poirier, Evelyn Medas and Lucille Bousquet.
Her Funeral will be Wednesday March 23, at 8:30 am from WILBUR-ROMANO Funeral Home 615 Main St. Warren with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Lukes Church Washington Rd. Barrington. Burial will be in St. Patricks Cemetery Fall River.
