John R. Andreozzi

John R. Andreozzi, age 91, formerly of Barrington, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Crestwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of the late Joann (Carroll) Andreozzi and the late Barbara (Kadan) Andreozzi.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giuseppie and Columbia (D’Angelis) Andreozzi.

John was a resident of Barrington for 50 years and a former communicant of Holy Angels Church. He was a member of the Barrington Democratic Club, the VFW Post #2 in West Warwick, and the West Warwick Knights of Columbus. John was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served his country proudly during the Korean War.

He is survived by his sons, John Andreozzi, Jr. and his wife Mary of Maine, Michael Andreozzi and his wife Eleanor of Bristol, and Paul Andreozzi and his wife Lori of Webster, MA.; daughters, Lisa Derek and her husband Wojciech of Connecticut, Patricia St. Jean and her husband Roger of N. Scituate, and Rebecca Hirehal and her husband Shahanazali of Cumberland; sister, Chris Iacovelli of California; as well as 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Americo, Rocco, Jimmy, Anthony, and Victor Andreozzi, Betty Vaccaro, Lena D’Angelis, Leontina Pannone, Josephine Morelli and Anna Vallaro and was the great-grandfather of the late Addison Andreozzi.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM in Holy Angels Church, 341 Maple Avenue, Barrington followed by burial with Military Honors in Maria del Campo Cemetery, Barrington.
