Priscilla met her husband, Robert Watterson when she was a secretary at Balfour & Co. in Attleboro MA and he was a jeweler there. She would see him walk out of the factory every day and tell anyone who would listen, that she was “going to marry that man.” And she did just that. They shared a love that was the epitome of the perfect married couple. They were only 19 and 20 when they married, and had their first daughter Carol Andrews in 1954, and their second daughter Robin Watterson in 1956.
Priscilla loved to socialize and took great pride in being on trend, and was always fashionable too. She created a beautiful life for her children, along with Bob, that was filled with their summers on Matunuck beach, football games, and Christmas trees at her brother Roland’s Christmas tree Farm. Robin & Carol had a wonderful childhood with two loving and kind parents.
After many years of battling a condition that affected her speech and cognition, we lost Priscilla on December 17th, 2023 at the age of 90. She lived a beautiful life and is now reconnected with the ones she has loved and lost - her husband Bob, and her two beautiful daughters Carol Andrews & Robin Watterson. She leaves behind her four grandchildren Travis Andrews, Coral Andrews, Erik Sheehan, and Erin Elliott. And her six great-grandchildren - Cooper & Bodhi Andrews, Rhodes & Tucker Sheehan, and Emmett & Iris Elliott who will forever remember their "Nanny." Her kind smile, warm heart, and sweet disposition will be truly missed.
A Celebration of life for the Watterson Family, Robin, Carol, Robert & Priscilla will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street Warren, RI 02885.
