Raymond E. LaRoche

Raymond E. LaRoche, age 86, of Swansea, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Scolaro) LaRoche to whom he was married 59 years.

Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Lucien and Rose (Jean) LaRoche.

A Veteran of the United States Army, Raymond proudly served his country during the Korean War.

Besides his devoted wife, Raymond is survived by four children, Susan LaRoche of Swansea, Lisa Souza of New Hampshire, Russell LaRoche of Fall River and Cheryl Swanson of Swansea; five grandchildren, Alicia, Tony, Shelby, Kristy and Allison; two great-grandchildren, Briona and Haileigh Amaral; two siblings, Gertrude Carpentier and Henry LaRoche both of Swansea, as well as several nieces and nephews. Raymond was the brother of the late Bertha St. Pierre, Robert LaRoche, Noella Mongeau and George LaRoche.

His Visitation will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 8:00 to 9:00 AM in Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, donations in Raymond’s honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
