After a remarkable 91 years, Anne Dagrin was called home to the Lord on Thursday, March 26, 2026. Born on November 16, 1934, in Jacmel, Haiti, to Ifermie Lapierre and Gilles Dagrin, Anne was one of ten children. Her life was defined by unwavering resilience and a profound selfless love for everyone she encountered. Anne immigrated to the United States in the 1980s. She loved her life in the United States so much that she chose to become a naturalized citizen in 2012.
Fondly remembered for her devotion to her faith, her legendary cooking, and her love of the color red - a hue that perfectly embodied her commanding and spirited nature - Anne was a pillar of strength. She spent her later years dedicated to raising her grandchildren and great-grandchildren which brought her immense and lasting joy. Because of her nurturing heart, Anne was known as a mother to all and was affectionately known to everyone as "Mommy Anne”.
