Ernest A. Kousis

Beloved husband of the late Christina Kousis of Potomac, MD for 70 years, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015.He was the son of the late Aristomenis and Konstantina(Speros) Kousis; Loving father of Connie Kousis and the late Vivian Kousis Liapis. Beloved grandfather of Nicholas (Jessica) Liapis of Potomac, MD and Christopher (Audrey) Liapis, and great-granddaughter, all of Redondo Beach, CA. Also survived by two nieces, Eleni (Pavlos) Papazoghou and Nadena (Michaelis) Athanasakis, both of Athens Greece and many loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Anna Phillipakis of Athens, Greece. A viewing will be held at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 36th and Massachusetts Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20007, Monday October 26, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. followed by funeral services at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be held at Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville, MD immediately following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 2815 36th Street NW, Washington, DC 20007.
