

Laurent Dada was born in Beirut Lebanon on September 10, 1952. His strong and unwavering Christian faith was instilled deeply in him at a young age by his mother Peppina. He was blessed with a large loving family, his wife Noel, three daughters and a son (Serena, Tatiana, Robert, and Kathy).
He was a great family man. He dedicated his life to the wellbeing of his wife and kids. Every decision he made in life or business was selfless and revolved around his loved ones.
Laurent had a degree in finance. He worked in Africa with the Pepsi group. He retired in 2019 as the General Manager and CFO of the group.
His biggest passion was tennis. He played daily and was a member of a tennis and Pickleball club where he made numerous friends. He also coached tennis to younger kids to spread the love of the game to the next generation.
After his retirement he moved to DC to be close to his daughters Serena and Tatiana and to facilitate the immigration to the US of the remainder members of this family (his wife Noel and his kids Robert and Kathy). It was his wish for all his family to reunite in the DMV area.
Laurent was a very spiritual man. He was a great guide for his kids through every stage of their life. Death never scared him. He always told his kids that it was just a transition to the afterlife because God granted us eternal life.
Laurent is survived by his wife, Noel Dada, His children Serenella Dada Boustany, Tatiana Dada, Robert Dada and Kathy Dada Sakr, His Brothers Pascal Dada and Roger Dada. He is preceded in death by his Parents Robert and Peppina Dada and his sister Violet Forides and her son Jean Forides.
A memorial mass for Laurent will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Victory, 4755 Whitehaven Parkway, Washington, DC 20007. A committal service will occur Friday, June 17, 2022 at Oak Hill Cemetery, 3001 R Street NW, Washington, DC 20007. Relatives and friends are invited to a reception following the committal service on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Joseph Gawler's Sons, 5130 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC 20016.
