Bonjour je suis perpetue j’étais son amie  notre dernière conversation lui et moi date du 3 juin il avait dit qu’il allait donné mon numéro à ses filles qui sont avec lui au état unis pour qu’elle puisse mène donner des nouvelles de lui constamment par ce qu’il n’avait plus de force pour qu’on parle 😭 le lendemain je lui ai écrit en vaim jusqu’à aujourd’hui j’ai décidé de chercher à joindre ses filles dont Léa et une autre sur Facebook à travers sont compte mais sur tout les réseaux je ne voyais rien j’ai donc taper sur Google et là je vois un avis de décès  oh mon Dieu j’ai du mal trop mal  si une de ses fille pouvait prendre contact avec moi  ça serait bien je vous souhaite beaucoup de courage à tous le ciel nous a pris quelqu’un d’entier et de généreux 

Sending healing prayers and comfort during this difficult time. Laurent made many friends at the Pickleball club, including myself. We will all remember him for his mild-mannerisms, helpfulness, and eagerness to reciprocate. Laurent was always willing to share advice whether it was Pickleball, life hacks, or practical tips, and helped me locate Mediterranean spices not available at standard grocery stores. His kind and generous nature will be unforgettable.

The gentle soul who would swear — only in French and under his breath, of course — when the ball went squarely in to the net twice in a row. 
The ever thoughtful gent who would place a bottle of water next to the bag belonging to the one who always forgot hers.
The patient teacher who would toss 20 overheads in row, each to be missed, yet never making fun or belittling; just a twinkle in the eye, a sly grin, and words of encouragement.
The content passenger who would sit in silent comfort, not feeling the need to fill the space; a blessing to the driver. 
The father who would emanate an abundance of love and pride when talking of his children and their families. 
You will be missed, my friend. I will forever be grateful for our paths having crossed.

We miss Laurent very much on the Pickleball court!  He was a fierce opponent and a very kind and supportive partner.  I enjoyed his smile and friendly demeanor very much.   He always brightened up the court.   I consider myself very lucky to have known Laurent and will remember our friendship fondly.

To the Family:   My prayers are with you as you Rest this beloved Spouse and Father. Laurent, my Dear beloved pickleball Brother/Partner and most of all my Friend.   You will be truly missed by many.  I will miss our friendship, conversation at breakfast discussing the Love of Africa, time spent playing pickleball, and the encouragement you provided to me to enjoy Life.
