

Nancy Lee Keshishian, (Lee) 84, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025. Born on January 25, 1941, in Washington, D.C., she grew up in Bethesda, Maryland, where she cultivated a deep love for family, community, and the arts.
The daughter of Marjorie Peed Stuckey and Henry Mortimer Stuckey, Lee’s grace and poise were evident from an early age, culminating in her title as Miss Summer Jubilee Washington D.C. 1960. She graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School and Studied Art at the University of Maryland before embarking on a life filled with passion, philanthropy, and adventure.
Lee was the beloved wife of Dr. John M. Keshishian, with whom she built a life centered on family, service, and shared joy. She was a devoted mother to Robert Taishoff of Annapolis, Maryland, and Randall Taishoff of Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Bradford Taishoff, whose memory she cherished deeply.
Lee adored her eight grandchildren—Sam, Maggie, CJ, Sol, Kai, Jackie, Jamey, and Maks Taishoff—each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
A dedicated philanthropist, Lee served as President of the Washington Hospital Center Auxiliary Board and was an active member of The Vestry of St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church in McLean, Virginia. She was also a talented artist, freelance writer, and athlete, whose love for tennis, skiing, pickleball, and bridge kept her vibrant and engaged throughout her life.
Lee and John made their home in McLean, Virginia, but also cherished their retreat by the water in Ocean Pines, Maryland, where they created lasting memories with family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church, 1830 Kirby Road McLean, VA. She will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, John, at Arlington National Cemetery.
Lee’s legacy of kindness, strength, and creativity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
