

Tony Gould passed away on January 14, 2025, from complications of pneumonia. He is survived by his daughter, Margaret Gould Korn; his son-in-law, Adam Korn; and his two grandsons, Andrew and Samuel Korn, all of New York City. He is also survived by his sister, Vicky Gould Johnson, and his brother, David Erik Gould. Tony was predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Nancy Gould, in 2019.
Tony was a founding partner of the commercial real estate firm Larson, Ball, Gould & Collins and dedicated 37 years to a distinguished career in real estate and banking, earning numerous awards for his professional accomplishments and his deep commitment to community service.
Among his many passions, Tony took immense pride in championing educational opportunities for young people. He worked tirelessly to help students of color attend his high school alma mater, Woodberry Forest School (VA), and encouraged dozens of students to matriculate at his cherished Brown University. He viewed this advocacy as one of his most meaningful legacies.
Tony served on the boards of Woodberry Forest School, the Brown University Sports Foundation, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington, and the Metropolitan Club of Washington, among others. His generosity, kindness, and dedication to helping others will be remembered by all who knew him.
In honor of Tony’s life, a memorial service will be held at St. Andrew’s Chapel, Woodberry Forest School, Woodberry Forest, VA on Saturday, March 29th at 11:30 am.
