

Ursula A. Wagner, long standing Chevy Chase Psychologist and daughter of United States Foreign Service Officer the late Bernard Wagner and Margrit Wagner, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the age of sixty-two. Born in Washington D.C. on April 21, 1952, she was the granddaughter of Martin Wagner, a noted German Architect of the Weimar Republic. Ursula traveled extensively as a child, mastered four languages and was an avid gardener. She married Robert Kramer of Chevy Chase, MD on November 30, 1974 at Dahlgren Chapel, Georgetown University. She obtained her Bachelors Degree in Foreign Service in 1975 from Georgetown University and a Masters in Psychology from The Catholic University of America in 1977. Ursula went on to study abroad at the Jung Institute in Zurich, Switzerland from 1981 until 1982. She then studied at the California School for Professional Psychology in San Francisco where she graduated with a second Masters Degree in 1990, completing her PhD in 1994. Dr. Wagner was licensed in 1999 as a Psychologist and established a private practice in Chevy Chase. Since 1995, she was a member of the American Psychological Association, as well as the California and Maryland Associations. She was also President of Carl G. Jung Club of San Francisco, CA. She leaves her husband, Robert Kramer of Chevy Chase and a brother, Christian Wagner of Switzerland, other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Ursula's life will be held on Saturday April 18, at 2 p.m. at the Joseph E. Hagan Memorial Chapel at Joseph Gawler's Sons, 5130 Wisconsin Ave., NW, Washington DC (corner of Harrison St.). Interment will follow in the Rock Creek Cemetery.
