With hearts heavy beyond measure, the family of Annamaria Saetta announces her peaceful passing after a long and courageous battle with cancer. In her final moments, she was surrounded by the love of her devoted family.
Annamaria was born on November 19, 1957, in Calabria, Italy. She carried her Italian roots with pride throughout her life, embodying warmth, strength, faith, and an unwavering devotion to family. Her spirit, resiliency, and love never wavered, even through her final days, which she faced with quiet courage and grace.
She is predeceased by her beloved parents, Antonia Catherine Sanginiti and Domenico Sanginiti.
Annamaria is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Peter Saetta, who was the love of her life and her steadfast partner through every season. She was a cherished and deeply loved mother to her daughter, Catherine Bruno and her husband Kenneth Bruno, and to her son, Salvatore Saetta and his wife Brittany Saetta. She loved her in-law children as if they were her own, and they knew it deeply.
Her greatest joy in life was being Nonna to her six treasured grandchildren, who were truly her world: Gianna, Santino, Benjamin, Enzo, Milania, and Lucio. There was nothing more precious to her than the love she carried for each and every one of them. Nothing lit up her face more than time spent with her grandchildren, and her love for them will live on in each of their hearts.
Annamaria had a deep love for cooking and baking and was truly extraordinary in the kitchen. Her meals were more than food; they were expressions of love that brought her family together time and time again. The kitchen was her heart’s stage, where traditions were passed down, memories were made, and her devotion to her family was felt in every dish she prepared. She also found great joy in the beach, traveling, and creating beautiful moments with those she loved most.
She is also survived by her loving sisters, Rose Cicero and her husband John Cicero, and Josephine Coneen and her husband Matthew Coneen, along with many dear nieces and nephews who will forever carry her memory forward.
Annamaria will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her boundless kindness, her remarkable strength, and the unwavering love she gave so freely to everyone around her. She fought with dignity, lived with purpose, and loved with her whole heart until the very end.
Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished, the traditions she created, and the love she poured into every life she touched.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
