Benjamin Mark Breitung, age 11, of Washingtonville, New York passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024. In his eleven short years, Ben lived a big life. From a sweet baby to a smart, stubborn little boy, to a strong, generous young man, Ben was such a light in this world. He was your typical all-American boy. He loved to fish and swim and play sports, as well as play games and watch TV. He just loved life and all the people in it. Ben had a smile for everyone. He could talk all day long and loved to make people laugh. To know him was to love him. He had a heart made of pure gold. Benjamin had an unwavering love for his family, especially his sisters. He leaves behind his mom, Renee, his dad, James, his bonus dad, Dan, his sisters, Natalie, Cheyenne and Savanna, his grandparents, Kathy, Mark, Linda, Cherie, Ron, Cheryl and Mike, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Services will be held on Sunday February 25, 2024 from 2:00-6:00pm at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home located at 20 North St, Washingtonville NY 10992.
Ben's family will host a gathering after the funeral service for all who would like to attend. This will be held at the Elk's Lodge on Route 32 in New Paltz from 7:00-9:00pm.
