

David P. Pelio of Blooming Grove, NY entered into rest on July 10, 2011. He was 44. The son of Anthony R. Pelio and Deanne Harris he was born in Suffern, NY on April 24, 1967. David was the husband of Sue E. Pelio. David was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend who loved watching his boys play football. A member of Big Pine hunting camp he also coached his sons in Little League and coached the Hudson Valley Hurricanes, and was also a member of the touchdown club at Washingtonville High School. A sheet metal worker with local 137 he was also an avid Giants fan. He is survived by his wife, Sue E. Pelio of Blooming Grove, NY; his children, Chaynce D. and Taylor D. Pelio both of Blooming Grove; his father, Anthony R. Pelio of Middletown; a brother, Anthony and his wife, Maureen Pelio of Pearl River, NY; sisters: Deirdre and husband, Aaron Lawton of Monticello, NY, Phyllis Pelio of West Haverstraw, NY, Deanne and husband, Anthony Mazzarella of Tappan, NY; father-in-law, Daniel E. and wife, Hermenia Schwickerath of Aplington, Iowa; brother-in-law, Daniel and wife, Jannese Schwickerath of Aplington, Iowa; sisters-in-law: Lori and husband, Kendal Renken of Aplington, IA, Michele and husband, Tim Rotgers of Ackley, IA and Leah and husband, Jim Harper of Oklahoma City, OK also many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday July 15 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church with Burial to follow at Brick Church Cemetery in New Hempstead, NY. Arrangements under the care of Thomas A.
