Doris B. Wawrzyniak

Doris was born in Long Island City, NY on September 11, 1926 to Edward and Barbara (Will) Donnelly. She was the widow of Joseph Wawrzyniak. Doris had a wonderful sense of humor and was a generous person who loved crocheting, knitting, needlepoint and decorating. Doris often donated her creations. She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Washingtonville.

She is survived by her dear friends, Jeanne Marie Flanagan and her son, Matthew Flanagan of Walden, NY. She is predeceased by her sister, Grace and her husband, Merwin Kirk and her dear friend, Timothy Flanagan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 15 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 16 at St. Mary’s Church in Washingtonville.
