To Liz's family -
I was so sorry to hear of Liz's passing. We have lost a true advocate for children and families in New York State. I have fond memories of spending time with Liz at the many meetings, trainings, and retreats focused on child care. She was never shy about speaking up for our youngest citizens and their needs or how we could best support the child care profession. She will be missed and has left a legacy at the Orange County Child Care Council.
Prayers for all.

I was fortunate to work with Liz for many years on child care. She was determined, caring, and a wonderfully supportive colleague. My sincerest condolences to her family.

Dear sweet Liz, may you Rest In Peace, in the arms of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. I’ve enjoyed playing golf with you and Carol. I’d also like to thank you for the wonderful care you provided for my daughter 33 years ago at the Blooming Grove Daycare Center.

Liz was dedicated in her support of child care. I worked under her as Assistant Director for many years and marveled at her creativity in helping child care programs. Whenever a huge problem arose, she would say, “I’ll think about it tomorrow” like Scarlet O’Hara from Gone with the Wind - and sure enough next day she would have a thoughtful crafted plan to combat the problem. She shared many a story that showed how much she loved her family, especially becoming a grandmother.
May God bless and comfort her family and friends.
