George E. Kotara

George E. Kotara of New Windsor, NY entered into rest on January 11, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh, NY. He was 62. George was born in Stufford Staffs, England on May 9, 1951 to Edward and Alioja (Sabatowska) Kotara. He was the loving husband of Dolores M. (Wise) Kotara. George was a Navy Veteran who served from 1970-1974. He worked as a machinist at Star, Tarket & Lafarge. He was an avid Yankee and Giants fan as well as a NASCAR racing fan, especially of Jeff Gordon #24. George loved playing Poker at the Monticello Raceway Bar. He is survived by his loving wife, Dolores "Lori" M. Kotara of New Windsor, NY; son, Jason and wife, Joanna Kotara of Lincoln, Maine; daughter, Candace "Buckshot" and her husband, John Tremper of Newburgh, NY; brother-in-law, Charlie Wise of New Windsor, NY; sister-in-law, Fran and her husband, David Mann of Gaithersburg, Maryland and Pat and her husband, Bob Dominick of Plattekill, NY; grandchildren, Johnny "Little buckshot" Tremper; niece, Julianna and her husband, Tom Tompkins; nephews, Richard Pinder and his fiance, Lacy Gribbon, Chuckie and his wife, Athena Pinder, Sands and his wife, Angie Crawford as well as many other nieces, nephews, friends and coworkers. George was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Debra Pinder. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 8 p.m. at David T.
