

Gregoria was born on January 4, 1931 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late
Aurelio Montanez and Rafaela Bizoso Pares.
Gregoria (Jody) was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on January 4, 1931. She was the last surviving member of 8 children.
Jody came to New York in 1947 with her family and attended Columbus High School in the Bronx. She later worked as a bookkeeper for multiple companies in the garment and produce industry throughout her career. It was there she met her husband and father to her two sons, Ruby. During this time she also worked hard raising her two boys, Michael, and Ari.
Jody and the family moved from the Bronx to New Windsor, NY in 1972. She loved the area and wanted to give back to her new community and friends. Because of her early preliminary training in high school, she chose to learn to be an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). She had successfully served as an EMT for the Town of New Windsor. She also served Orange County as an election day verifier as a continuance of her civic responsibilities.
She is survived by her loving sons, Ari A. Moskowitz and his wife Tamara and Michael Moskowitz and his wife Karen; adoring grandchildren, Ashley, Jessica, Joshua and Marissa. Her great granddaughter Eva also survives her. Her husband Rubin Moskowitz predeceased her in 1993.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 10am-12pm at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville, NY. A Cryptside Service will be held following at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh, NY.
