James R. McCorvey

James R. McCorvey of New Windsor, NY entered into rest on April 3, 2012 at home, NY. He was 81. James was born in Albany, GA on October 22, 1930 to Levy and Mabel (Shirley) McCorvey. He was the loving husband of Mary Buhl McCorvey. James served as a Retired. Master Sgt. with USAF who worked at West Point and served 2 years in Vietnam. He was a Parishioner of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a member of VFW Post 8691 in Washingtonville, the Good Fellowship Dart Ball League and a member of the Golden Songsters Chorus. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Buhl McCorvey of Rock Tavern, NY; Step children David Robertson of Newburgh, NY, Joseph Braditsch of Ashville, NC, Timothy and his wife Cassie Buhl of Hamilton, Montana, Rebecca and her husband Jim Shields of Mahwah, NJ and Susanna and her husband Steve Cafarelli of Oakdale, NY; Brother Paul and his wife Helen McCorvey of Manchester, GA; Grandchildren, Sydney and Taylor Shields and Tyler and Jason Cafarelli as well as many nieces and nephews.
