Joyce D. Guerra

She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Ralph, and her little Yorkshire Terrier Lulu, who passed away during her illness.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, and caretaker Patricia Higgins and husband Thomas, Her two sons, Rick Guerra and wife Janice, Ralph Guerra and wife Leslie. Seven grandchildren that she adored, Ryan, Rick, and Kaitlyn Higgins, Rick and Ashley Guerra, Michael and Marianne Guerra. One great-grandchild, Mason Guerra.

Mom was always taking care of everyone's needs and was a "mom" to everyone she knew. She had the biggest heart, was a great friend, loved to shop and enjoyed cooking and tending to her flower gardens.

Her most recent joy was seeing her first-born grandson Ryan, get married on September 15, 2017. It was one of the happiest days of her life, spending it with all of her family that she loved so very much.

Joyce will be greatly missed by all who knew her especially her daughter Patricia who was her best friend.

The family would also like to thank the staff at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains, NY, for their extraordinary kindness and compassion.

Visiting hours will be from 2:00pm to 4:00pm & 7:00pm to 9:00pm, at David T Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St, Washingtonville, NY 10992

Cremation will be private.

Contributions in Joyce's memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
