Mrs. Mary "Mae" Margaret Daly lived a long and wonderful life, but still the loss of her is very hard to deal with.  It is very important to cherish the many happy memories that your family has shared together and to celebrate a life well lived.  While words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one, we look forward to the time when words will fail to capture the joy of having our heavenly Father return your dear one to you.  May you find comfort in knowing that your dear one is safe in the memory of God, who will remember every detail about her and bring her back again.   Now, let's search the Bible for a scripture that will help give your family the hope and comfort that they need.  One reads like this.  "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."  John 5:28,29 

I’m very sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. I used to go to your house when I was a little girl ( many years ago!!) with my Aunt and Uncle and cousin. My aunt and uncle were Mary & Bud Donohue.
Your mom shared her Irish Soda Bread recipe with my Aunt and I still make it, every year, on St. Paddy’s Day. ☘️

Dear Chrissy and Doug,

We are truly sorry for your loss.  Chrissy, you have been a wonderful daughter to your Mom and we know with her passing this will be a tough loss on your heart.  We will continue praying for your hearts to be comforted and your memories help you through the tougher days.

Dear Mae:  You will be missed so very much at Rocky Point!  Years ago when I started at Rocky Point, I met this wonderful lady named Mae.  Right from the start, you reminded me of my mom whom I missed so much.  My mom would have been a year older than you, so I'm sure you grew up, very much the same.  You were both strong, kind, loving, religious, Irish moms. Both with an adoring love of the Blessed Mother.   As I got to know you more, I realized just how much you and mom were alike.  I fell in love with you right away.  As time went on, I loved you  just for you!  You used to always make me laugh.  You told it as you saw it, and I loved your pure honest responses to sometimes what we would call nonsense going on around us.  Mae, my world was a much better place because I was lucky enough to have you in it.  Rocky Point, will never be the same for me, without you!

Mae, I hope you are resting peacefully in the hands of God.  Please keep an eye on all of us.  I hope you are flying high, with the angels.  You will always be "my girl".

Crissy and family,
   Your mom was a great lady, and surely will be sadly missed, I always remembered her cheerful and happy.  She lived a long productive life and was a great friend to my family, May she rest in peace.

We are in Florida now and will not be able to attend, however she will be in our thoughts and prayers.    Love Ed and Jane Flanagan
