Robert J. Fischer

Robert was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 21, 1954 to Walter A. Fischer and Arlene Gedalje. Robert was a baker and a cake decorator with Stop and Shop. A loving son, father, grandpa, brother and friend. To everyone he was known as "Pops". Robert lived life to the fullest, whose favorite quote was, "one day when I grow up". Survived by mother, Arlene Gedalje of Rock Tavern, NY; his cupid, Arlene Nalbone of Budd Lake, NJ; daughters, Jessica and her husband, Rich Prisco of Newburgh, NY, and Lauren Fischer and Pete Kilduff also of Newburgh, NY; brother, Raymond A. and his wife Susan Fischer of Syracuse, NY; sister, Penny Miller of Highland Falls, NY; granddaughter, Abigail Rose, many nieces and nephews and many other special people that where in his heart. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard W. Fischer. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville, NY 10992 845-496-9106. A Service will be held Monday, May 7, 2012 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be follow in the Washingtonville Presbyterian Cemetery in Washingtonville, NY.
