A Gathering of family and friends will be held April 15, 2017 at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home from 11am-1pm with a Celebration of Life at 12:30pm. Sandy's family would like to invite you to come share a memory, story or prayer at 12:30pm in the funeral home to help celebrate Sandy's life.

Sandy Eberling of Maybrook, NY, died on March 1, 2017 at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC after a brave battle with cancer. The daughter of Jerrie and Walter Joy, she was born in Kew Gardens Hospital, Queens, NY, on April 7, 1945. She was 71 years old.

Sandy was the owner of TLC Upholstery in Washingtonville, NY for 17 years but practiced the art that no one could compare to for 37 years. She was an icon in the Village and considered Washingtonville her home.

She was a fantastic mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a great friend to many people. She was the most honest person and loved by all. She will be extremely missed and will leave a hole in our hearts for many years to come.

Sandy leaves behind her son Joe Eberling and his wife Tinker of Monroe, NY; her daughter, Traci Eberling of Maybrook, NY; her grandchildren: Tyler, Autumn, Amilia, Zachary and Emmalee; her sibilings: Bobbie Trager of Washingtonville, NY; Wendy Joy-Hayes and her husband Larry of Brant Lake, NY; and Brad Joy and his wife Annie also of Brant Lake, NY; her nieces: Holly Joy Grove and Hannah Joy; her grandnephew Daniel Grove; and also, her baby girl Jessie, her Yorkie.

Sandy lost her son, Christopher Eberling in 2010. By her strong faith she knew she would see him again one day. We know she's with him.

A Life Celebration will be held Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 11am-1pm at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville, NY, who also provided cremation services. For additional information or directions or to leave a personal condolence, please visit www.davidtfergusonfh.com .
