Virginia Lubrano, a homemaker and resident of Washingtonville, died November 9, 2010 at Valley View Nursing Home. She was 87.
The daughter of the late Joseph Fusi and Louisa Brinklow, she was born June 25, 1923 in Brooklyn. She was the widow of Michael C. Lubrano.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt.
Survivors include her daughter, Christine and her husband, Edward Fares of Blooming Grove; grandchildren: Michelle and Marc Scanlon of Chester, Vanessa and Kevin Gordon of Mooresville, NC; great-grandchildren: Camilla, Natalie and Charlotte, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m., Friday, November 12, at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 12, Chapel of the Sacred Heart, Stage Rd., Monroe. Burial will be in St. Charles Resurrection Cemetery.
Donations in Virginia’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
