Jerry was born March 23, 1938 in Cortland, New York to Louis and Claire Longstreet. He was one of 10 children. Jerry had six brothers and 3 sisters.
Jerry traveled around the United States, enlisting into the United States Army from 1961 until 1963. He later settled in Fairfield Maine starting his family business "Longstreets Septic Service" which has evolved to a three generation business.
Jerry was the definition of a hard working man. He worked tirelessly for many years keeping all the family vehicles going strong on the road. He had strong determination, and if something was broken, he would fix it. Jerry could always be found working or “monkeying around” outside. Jerry was a great man with a huge heart and always ready to lend a hand on any job big or small.
He is survived by his son Jeffrey, and his wife Andrea Longstreet of Canaan; his granddaughter Amanda Longstreet and fiancé Niki Demarinis of Seattle Washington and his grandson Jesse Longstreet of Fairfield; a very special brother-in-law David Worth, his wife Tammy along with their children, Brandy, Kevin and Dan Worth; and many of his siblings and their extended families.
There will be private services at a later date as Jerry wished.
