

Juliette "Judy" Elizabeth LeClair, 80, passed away peacefully July 15, 2013, at a Bangor hospital with her family by her side. She was born September 9, 1932, in Waterville, to the late Clifford and Anita King.
Judy attended Waterville schools. She worked for 45 years in retail and enjoyed working in customer service. She also volunteered more than 1000 hours in the St. Joseph Hospital gift shop. In her lifetime, she was an active member of Sweet Adelines, Y Players and River City Harmonizers performance groups. Her passion was singing and entertaining people of all ages. She performed in countless shows and enjoyed every minute of it. Toward the end of her life, she spent most of her time doing physical therapy, watching soap operas, drawing, playing with her cat, and spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Nelson; daughters, Gail LeClair and Karen Bean; grandchildren, Melanie Bean, Chad Wong, Kelli Williams and husband, Conrad; and kitty, Cuddles. She is also survived by her sister, Marcia Mathieu and husband, Melvin; brother, Clifford King and companion, Phyllis Coe; and several beloved in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Bob King. She has always been surrounded by loved ones, and we know she is thankful for having so many special relationships with each of you.
Visiting hours will be held 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday, July 23, at Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm St., Waterville, where a memorial service will begin noon. A committal service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta.
