Simone Paradis

Simone was born in Van Buren, Maine on July 14, 1923; daughter of Edmond and Lillian (Bouchard) Beaulieu.

Simone was past President, active member, and an avid bowler of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary for many years. Her greatest joy was always her large, ever growing family, whom she positively cherished. Simone will also be remembered for her endless generosity and thoughtfulness.

Simone is survived by her three loving daughters; Sandra Dolley and her husband Barry of Harpswell, Bonnie Shorey and husband Evan of North Vassalboro, Jolyne Paradis of Fairfield, and her niece Joan Hallee who lived with them, her grandchildren; Michelle Dolley, Barry Dolley II, Jeffrey Dolley, Shawn Dolley, Renee Dolley, Cathy Gellar, Brian Shorey, and Allison Libby; her great grandchildren Adrienne, Luke, Adeline, William, Dylan, Danielle, Chloe, Kaili, Madeline, Gabriel, Kaleb, Cole, and her great great grandson Owen.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years Adrien Paradis, three sisters, and one brother.

Simone and family express appreciation to the thoughtful staff at Seton Village; and to Hospice for their attentive care, especially to Kathie and Michelle.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Notre Dame Catholic Church on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 9 am. She will be laid to rest with her husband in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent in Simone’s memory to Health Reach Hospice P.O. Box 828 Waterville, Maine 04901.
