Anna L. Stephno

Anna was born in Watkins Glen, NY on September 29, 1922, the daughter of the late Tom and Jennie (Flammia) Stephno. Anna was a graduate of Watkins Glen High School Class of 1943. She retired from A&P in Watkins Glen after 29 years of service. Having a big heart for children, she then spent 8 years working as a teacher’s assistant at Watkins Glen Elementary School.

In addition to her parents, Anna was predeceased by her brothers, Joe and Nicholas; sisters, Angeline Stephno, Nellie Davis, and Mary Turner; her sister in law, Jeannette Stephno. She is survived by her brother, Anthony Stephano of Seattle, WA; nieces, Jennifer Nichols and Jessica Farrell; nephews, Tom, Steve, and Mark Turner and Paul Stephano; and her brother in law, Charles Davis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, 905 Decatur St., Watkins Glen on Sunday, May 19th, 2013, at 1 pm with Father Paul Bonacci, celebrant. A private burial will at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Watkins Glen.
