It's been almost a year since you've been gone.I still miss you as much as I did the day you left us.  I've shed a lot of tears for you this week and I'm sure there are many more still to come before the week is over.  I love you so much Nettie. I'm so glad you're at peace, but it's so hard to let go.

Beth Ann, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  I remember Nettie & Al having gatherings at their home on Irelandville Road for all the kids from church and you running around being cute as a button. For my whole life, Nettie Palmer (my aunt), has played a very important role in my life.  My earliest memories include her.

She always made me feel special and extremely loved.  After I grew up, I could always share anything with  Nettie.  No matter what it was, she was never judgmental.

Thank you God for giving me the  privilege to have been her niece and to have shared a big part of her life with her.

Nettie, I would always love you and you will forever be in my heart.

BETH ANN We loved your mother Nettie and she will be missed very much by everyone that ever knew her my children will be sad to hear that Nettie has passed but she will be in a better place now our deepest sympathy to you and your family.

As I grew up in Watkins in the 50s, Nettie was an institution at Vickers' and LaFace's. She was a great friend to all the kids. My condolences to the family.

Nettie was a sweetheart--I was nervous the first time I played the piano in front of her but it got so I was very comfortable around her. You all are in our thoughts and prayers!

Nettie will always be remembered by my generation as the nice gal behind the candy counter who treated us all as friends as well as customers.  Vickers and LaFaces were the gathering spot and Nettie was a part of our socialization as we were growing up.  Having known her has made my life richer.  Sympathies to all of her family.

Nettie was a Godsend to me. When I moved to Watkins Glen and was a guest at the First Baptist Church,she welcomed me with open arms and treated me like family.
