Alfred F. Moers

Alfred was the loving husband of Lillian for over 65 years. He also leaves behind his children; Brenda J. (Jerry) Murnighan and Barbara A.(John R.) Smith, grandchildren; Janice (Mike), Erick (Christy), Steven, April (John), Nicholas, and Chelsea (Conrad), great grandchildren Elysia, E.J., Jordyn, Morgan, Paige and Savannah and brother Clayton (JoAnn). Alfred was preceded in death by his son Lynn A. Moers, his twin brother Wilfred, siblings; Erich, Ernie, Gertrude, Eleanore, Shirley and Robert.

Alfred enjoyed playing harmonica, baseball, bowling, golfing and hunting. He was devoted to wife and his family and loved dancing with his beloved Lillian. Alfred was a WWII veteran of the US Army.

Visitation will be held at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 34567 Michigan Ave. Wayne, MI 48184 on Mon. Dec. 2 from 4-8pm with a rosary at 7pm. The funeral Mass will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church located across from the funeral home on Tues. Dec.3 at 10am with an in state time of 9:30am. A private burial will take place following the Mass.
