

Anne was born on August 8, 1937, in Streator, Illinois, to her parents, Lucille and Gerald Senninger. She later made her home in Wayne, Michigan, where she worked and raised her family.
Anne attended St. Mary’s High School in Wayne. She continued to be part of the St. Mary’s community for the rest of her life. She devoted many years of her professional life as a teacher paraprofessional in elementary schools within the Wayne–Westland Community School District. She was known for her patience, kindness, and dedication to children.
On May 20, 1957, Anne married the love of her life, James (Jim) Allen Law. Together they shared many years of marriage and raised a loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, and her brothers, Stephen and John. She is survived by her sister, Susan Willnus.
Together, Anne and Jim raised five children, who survive her: Michael (Connie), William (Malinda), Jeanne (Robert), Carol, and Gerald. She was the proud grandmother, and great-grandmother of, Whitney and her children, Natalie, Aria, and Elliot; Justine (Brett) and her children, Edie, and Margot; Allison (Jimmy) and her children, Paxton, and Lewis; as well as Allen; Sara; and Sophie (Zachary).
Anne was an avid reader, rarely without a book, magazine, or New York Times crossword puzzle close at hand. In retirement, Anne was lucky to have the chance to travel to visit family across the country. Anne will always be remembered for her charitable support, her green thumb, her deep faith, and devotion to her family. Her warmth touched all who knew her, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and service.
The funeral services will take place at St. Mary Catholic Church, located at 34530 W Michigan Ave, Wayne, MI, 48184. The Funeral In State will be held on December 30, 2025, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, her family would appreciate donations made in her memory to Detroit PBS or St. Mary’s Community Outreach Center.
Anne will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family and all whose lives she touched.
