Jeanne M. Talbert

Jeanne was born on November 14, 1944 to John Patrick and Virginia Ellen (Hern) Dennis, sister to Sharon (Dennis) Reed. All of whom preceded her in death.

Jeanne lived in fulfilling life as a daughter, mother, sister, and friend to all that met her. She married Michael Talbert in 1969. This union produced her 2 wonderful boys. The marriage came to an end in 1983 with divorce.

To support her two young boys, Jeanne first worked at Kresge Department Store, switching over to K-Mart, which she later retired from. She loved to say "27 forever" as that was her employee number.

Jeanne loved God, her family, and friends. She liked to play games and cook with the family and loved watching cartoons and sitting on the floor playing cars, dominos, or Legos with her grandchildren.

She had a special passion for the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings, especially #13. She would light a candle for each period of the hockey game, believing that was good luck. She was known to leave family functions early so she could go home and watch her Wings. She also loved listening to Elvis. Later in life she became a big fan of professional golf.

Loving mother to Michael (Debby) and Robert (Mindy). Doting grandmother to Joshua (Carlee), Nicholas, Christopher, Ashley, Joshua, Logan and Julia. Caring great-grandmother to Warren, Hunter, and Audriean.

A Visitation for Jeanne will be held Friday, May 28, 2021 beginning at 4:00 PM and the Celebration of Life to take place at 7:30pm at Harry J Will Funeral Home, Wayne. On Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 12:00 PM, Jeanne will be laid to rest at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, 621 W Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48098.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Jeanne are appreciated to Heartland Hospice.
