Lucille Mae Hansen

Formerly for Romulus, currently of Belleville passed away on May 16, 2015 at the age of 80 with her family by her side. Lucille was born on March 12, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Justus and Kathleen Federer. An active member of the American Legion Post 111 of Wayne she served as post historian and was on the Executive Board. She was also the Assistant Troop Leader of Junior Girl Scouts Troop 269. Lucille dedicated her life to raising her family, but was also very active. She loved socializing, and playing Bingo and Bunco, as well as the work she did with the Legion.

She was the loving wife of the late James F. Hansen. Cherished mother of Vera Ann (Jim) Parker and Shirley Mae Hansen. Dear sister of Ruth M. (William) Wright, Nadine G. (Mark) Richman and the late Carole Ann Taylor. Beloved grandmother of Joey and Nicole Nelski Dearest aunt of William and Wayne Wright and Catherine Wright- Volante. She is also survived by her loving friend and care provider Lydia Mullins.

Lucille's family will receive friends on Monday May 18, 2015 from 3-8 pm and on Tuesday May 19, 2015 from 10 am until the time of her service, 12 noon, at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 34567 Michigan Ave. (east of Wayne Rd) in Wayne.

Lucille will be laid to rest next to her husband James at Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock.
