Stanley Earl Stevens

Stan was born in Detroit, Michigan to Cecil and Hobart Stevens on April 18th, 1936. He graduated from Wayne Memorial high school in 1954. He married Elizabeth on November 16th, 1957 at Missionary Baptist Church in Mira Loma, CA. He was fortunate enough to own a gas station, as well as a complete car clean up business. He also spent many years doing what he loved as a truck driver. He was a veteran, having served in the Marine Corps after high school until 1957. He enjoyed coaching baseball for the City of Wayne’s youth league for many years. He loved his grandkids and great-grandkids immensely. He taught them that drinking coffee while sitting on his lap at the age of three was entirely acceptable behavior. These memories will be cherished forever.

Stan is preceded in death by his beloved wife of nearly 53 years: Elizabeth Stevens, his youngest son: Tony Stevens, his older brothers: Eugene Stevens, Chuck Stevens, Harold Stevens, and Bob Stevens.

Stan is survived by his children: Teresa (Robbie) McCaulley, and Terry (Kathy) Stevens, sister: Shirley (Bob) Fowler, grandchildren: Heather Sowders, Melissa (Keyes) Warren, Ashley (Anthony) Shifferd, and Christina (Stephanie) Stevens, and great-grandchildren: Matthew Willson, Kabrilyn Sloan, Kemiah Warren, Michael Stevens, Preston Berry, and Aden Berry, honorary family: Sherri Grissom, SanDee Stevens, and Kyle Enos, and many other important extended family members, as well as friends that loved Stan very much.
