Virginia Snyder

Virginia Snyder was born in Racine, Wisconsin on September 6, 1919, the daughter of John Adam and Pauline Frances Zabrowski. She was an instructor at a beauty school for many years and was a long time member of St. Mary's of Wayne.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Walker M. Snyder and is survived by her four daughters Mary (Dan) Burtka, Janice (Frank) Sikorski, Gina (Tom) Regan and LuAnn (Steve) Rooney. She is the grandmother of 10 and the great grandmother of 4.

Friends may visit Virginia's family during a visitation in her honor from 2:30 pm until 8 pm on Friday August 24, 2012 at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 34567 Michigan Avenue in Wayne, Michigan 48184. The funeral home is located east of Wayne Road.

Funeral services for Virginia will be held at her church, St. Mary Catholic Church, 34530 Michigan Avenue in Wayne Michigan 48184. She will lie in state on Saturday August 25, 2012 from 10:30 am until her funeral Mass at 11 am celebrated by Fr. Jack Baker. The church is located east of Wayne Road, across the street from the funeral home.

She will be laid to rest with Walker at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan.

Virginia's family kindly asks that memorials be made in her honor to her church.
