Billy Howard Liddle

Born May 28, 1930 in Canandaigua, NY, son of the late Howard and Hazel (Dibble) Liddle.

On April 2, 1956 he married the love of his life, Joyce Liddle. They shared a blessed union of 56 years together.

Mr. Liddle was a current member of Waynesboro Free Methodist Church and was a long time member of Yorkshire Free Methodist Church, New York where he graciously spent his time working with the youth and children of the church. Billy retired from Holland Central Schools where he was employed as a custodian for 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading and gardening.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his loving children, Rebecca Babinger and husband Ted of Lyndhurst, Mark Liddle of Irondale, AL, Kevin Liddle and wife Amy of Greece, NY, Shawn Liddle and wife Kathleen of Albion, NY and Thomas Liddle and wife Linda of Williamson, NY; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Waynesboro Free Methodist Church, with Pastor David Kurtz officiating. A private family burial will take place on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Riverview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at the church.
