

Born January 13, 1930 in Earlehurst, VA, she was the daughter of the late Etta Pearl (Cassity) and Robert Fletcher Schoonover.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Waynesboro, where she was a past president of the Relief Society. Bobbie was also a past volunteer for the American Heart Association and Meals on Wheels. She worked briefly after high school as a production worker at the American Silk Mill in Orange, Virginia, after which she married and stayed home to raise seven children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Perry Lohr; sisters, Jean Hawkins, Norma Carpenter and Virginia Hall.
Survivors include her six children, Paige Lohr of Waynesboro, Connie Warren and husband, Ted of Stuarts Draft, Tracy Lohr and wife, Lisa of Ashland, Beth Iseman and husband, Keith of Grottoes, David Lohr and wife, Joyce of Bel Air, MD and Chad Lohr of Waynesboro; sisters, Helen Wickline of Tallahassee, FL and Frances White of Orange; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2858 Jefferson Lane, with Bishop Kevin Iseman officiating. A private burial will be held at Augusta Memorial Park at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the church.
