Brenda Lee Suever, 63, of Waynesboro passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville. Born March 2, 1961 in Springfield, OH, she was a daughter of the late Paul Edward and Mildred Lucille (Schmid) Henson. On August 27, 1983 she married James Michael Suever. The two shared 40 years of wonderful marriage together and called many places home. Brenda had innate ability to converse on a personal level with people that she only just met. She leveraged her people skills effectively in a variety of in positions throughout her diverse career including most recently as a benefits coordinator for Interim Health Care in Colorado Springs, Colorado; as a shift manager at Culver’s Restaurant in Arnold, Missouri; and as a human resources coordinator at Magic City Enterprises in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Brenda had a love for animals. Her greatest joy in life was taking care of her Pomeranians, Buffy and Bear, and the goldfish in her front yard pond. She also sorely missed and cherished the memory of her Pomeranian Prince who passed away in June 2020. She will be remembered as a loving wife, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend to many. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Allen Henson; and five aunts and uncles. Survivors include her husband, James Suever of Waynesboro; sister, Carol Lynn Ferrence of Tampa, FL; brothers-in-law, Steve Suever of Kettering, OH and Joseph Suever and wife, Carol, of Columbus, IN; sister-in-law, Joy Wrasman and husband, Nicholas, of Delphos, OH; 12 nieces and nephews; and 13 great-nieces and nephews. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, 1170 Shawnee Road, Lima, Ohio 45805.
