Charles Franklin Montgomery

Charles Franklin Montgomery, 79, of Augusta Springs passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Augusta Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Fishersville. Born November 14, 1941 in Augusta Springs, Va he was the son of the late William S. and Virginia (Ryan) Montgomery. Prior to retirement, Charles was employed by Stillwater Worsted Mill Industry where he worked for 33 faithful years. He greatly enjoyed telling stories, spending time with his family and hunting. Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Daisy Montgomery of Augusta Springs; daughters, Brenda Tucker and Wanda Woolf and husband, Dave; son, Charles Franklin Montgomery, Jr.; brother, George Montgomery; and six grandchildren, Charles Wright, Jr., Michael Wright, Chelsea Tucker, Ashley Lam, Kelli Harvey, and Jennifer McKenney. Following cremation, there will be no formal services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro.
