Conway Clifton Burns Jr.

Conway Clifton Burns, Jr., 76, of Fishersville, passed away on Tuesday July 26, 2022 at Envoy of Staunton. Mr. Burns was born on November 20, 1945 in Waynesboro, and was a son of the late Conway Clifton Burns Sr., and Glenna Earlene (Rucker) Burns Lehnen. Conway attended Bluefield College. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Burns was also a member of Fishersville Baptist Church and he enjoyed hunting and fishing when he was able. He is survived by a sister, Brenda Cash and her husband Thomas “Tommy” Cash; a niece Sarah Cash Wilcher; two great-nephews, Logan Wilcher, Alex Wilcher; cousins, Thomas Burns, I.B. Wilson, Joan Wilson; and many special friends who will miss him greatly. A graveside service will be held on Thursday August 4, 2022 at 2 PM at Augusta Memorial Park with Pastor Steven Lookabaugh officiating.
